Peter Francis, Ph.D. is Interim Dean of Online Instruction, and Academic Program Chair for Business and Management at Patten University where he has been since 2013. Prior to joining Patten, he was the Program Development Manager for the College of Business at Western Governors University where he managed 63 courses used by over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Francis has been teaching adult learners undergraduate and graduate business since 1996 at both private and public universities. In addition to his work in education, Peter served as Director of Marketing for a start-up forensic consulting company which he helped grow to 150 employees and $16 million in annual revenue in just five years. As a training consultant, he developed and delivered management training for corporate, association, and government clients including Apollo Corporate University, ConAir, the United States Air Force, The University of Georgia, PacifiCare Insurance, Discover Card and Banner Health. Peter earned a Ph.D. at Capella University in Organization and Management. His dissertation was Key Factors that Led to Entrepreneurial Success.
